We had the best time photographing Jesse and Cierra’s engagement session. These two met in high school and have been dating ever sine their junior/sophomore year. Being that they both love going on hikes and walks with their dog Maggie, we figured the best location for their engagement session would be out exploring in the middle of nowhere.
However, we had to meet somewhere- so Mt. Woodson Castle was the perfect spot before heading into no man’s land. If you have ever been to Mt. Woodson then you know how beautiful all the architecture is and why it was a no brainer to stop by here. If you haven’t been to Mt. Woodson then you absolutely must make the trip out to Ramona.
After a quick change, we headed out into the Ramona Mountains where we wandered and had some fun!!
So, funny story about these cows– we happened to run into them while they were grazing and not wanting to miss an opportunity we of course put them in the background. Well one of them got curious and totally crossed over to check us out. At first it was just curious but it kept getting closer and closer until it almost charged at me. Didn’t really know how to react– but the bride’s mom was there and caught everything!! We put it on our insta-story and will add a little behind the scenes photo at the end of this post.
As promised, a little behind the scenes– As a wedding photographer we are often put in stressful situations where we can’t react like we normally would. Kind of like a flight attendant. So, couldn’t freak out, run, scream or pay much attention to the fact that I almost got taken out by a cow.
